Mail Services currently ships an average of 90 express packages and delivers an average of 140 express packages per day.
Note: Saturday and Sunday are not business days.
The LDS Church negotiates contracts annually for express services. Currently, FedEx and DHL are the contract carriers. Use of these carriers can provide significant shipping savings to your department.
Currently, the LDS church does not have contracts with UPS and others.
UPS is our ground small package carrier. At the present time, we are shipping an average of 115 packages and delivering an average of 160 packages per day.

Mail Services will pick up your packages for you at department offices. The following lists are the packages out times. There is a service charge billed to the department per pickup (call for details).

Saving hint: To save the pickup fee, you may bring your packages to the BYU Mail Center located at 296 UPB by 4:00 p.m. for air and by 3 p.m. for ground.
BYU is self-insured. In case of any loss or damage, please notify BYU Mail Services. The following restrictions apply to the packages we handle:

You may use BYU's accounts when you are away from campus but you must notify Mail Services with the following information:
You may mail your packages by using BYU's contracted carriers' drop boxes outside of campus. There are two billing options you may choose from:
Note: An accounting fee is applied to shipments that require extra time to investigate the respective billings.
Expedited services are available to all full-time BYU employees. There is a $1.00 handling fee and no pickup service is available.
